ASUS EeeBook X205 Laptop Launched In India For Rs 14999

Taiwanese based ASUS launched EeeBoox X205 notebook in India for Rs. 14,999. The laptop was announced at IFA 2014 event in Berlin last September. The device is an affordable laptop that runs Windows 8.1 and will compete with Chromebooks.

The ASUS Eeeboox X205 features an 11.6-inch HD display with 1366x768 pixels screen resolution and comes with a full-size chiclet keyboard. It is powered by a  64-bit 1.3GHz Intel Atom 'Bay Trail-T' Z3735 processor, paired with 2GB DDR3L RAM and Intel HD graphics. It come equipped with 32GB Internal storage of which 20.8 is available for users and supports microSD card upto 128GB. The laptop runs Windows 8.1 with Bing.

Other features include a front facing VGA camera, SonicMaster Audio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, two USB 2.0 ports, and a micro-HDMI port. It is fueled by a 38Whrs battery which can deliver 12 hours of web browsing, 13 hours of music playback, 11 hours of video playback and 14 days of standby time. It measures 286x193.3x17.5mm and weighs 1KG.

The EeeBook X205 is bundled with Microsoft Office 365 which comes with one year subscription to full versions of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access and other apps.  It also comes with 500GB of ASUS WebStorage for two years and 1TB cloud storage.

The ASUS EeeBook X205 will be available in Black, White, Gold and Red Colour variants. It will go on Sale in India via Flipkart from today and on ASUS exclusive stores starting February.
