Huawei launched its new phablet dubbed the Ascend GX1 in China. The device was recently spotted in TENAA certification site and now its official.
The Huawei Ascend GX1 is a dual-SIM device which features a 6-inch HD IPS display and is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor clocked at 1.2GHz, paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage [microSD card suppot upto 32GB]. The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
Camera features include an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and GPS/ A-GPS. The phablet is powered by 3500mAh battery.
The Huaweii Ascend GX1 is priced at 1,590 Yuan ($255; Rs.16,000) and is available via Vmall, Huawei's official online store in China. There is no word yet on the global availability of the Ascend GX1.
